This place has FANTASTIC beer and awesome chicken wings! Their Thunder Road sauce a delicious.
We have always had a good experience at this restaurant. The food is good, service is good and consistant. I love the ale steak and the oriental salad. We especially like the patio in the warmer months.

I ordered the prime rib and I thought I was in heaven. It was absolutely perfect with plenty of (definitely) homemade coleslaw, also unlike any I've ever had before, very delicious, indeed. I had a strawberry daiquiri as well and that was as beautiful an experienced as eating the prime rib. On top of that the table service was impeccable and very attentive.
Of course she still loves Calhoun's.

We were guests of a catered event on this last visit. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The room decor was incredibly festive and certainly brought out the Christmas spirit. And finally, the food was incredible ... tasty ribs and catfish as well as the baked beans and cornbread muffins.
