A year ago I was introduced to Matthew Bryan through business contacts, and shortly thereafter spoke to him about what "I" was looking for... in coverage for "my" business. I needed Insurance peace of mind. Not only was I impressed with the thorough search and options for the right policy for me and my needs, but the price was WAY UNDER what another company had quoted me! A few weeks ago I thought I would just see exactly what all was included or not included in my policy and if it still met my needs having been a year since I first took out my insurance policy. An agent I hadn't spoken with before went over EVERYTHING he was kind, patient and very considerate to answer my many questions of different scenarios if were to occur. I was sure and happy with what I had. And it validated to me also that Matthew was honest and looking out for me when I first signed with him. This is the way I do business what is BEST for my client, glad to know Hitson, Crum & Blazer Insurance works the same principle.
Matthew Bryan and Hitson Insurance are fantastic! They reviewed my business liability insurance, found holes in my coverage and then gave me a rate that was lower than my previous carrier. They are also very personable and easy to deal with, if you have any questions or problems.
On November 28, 2016 our home burned to the ground. Michele, Matthew and the entire team, at Hitson, made this traumatic experience a lot less trying. The Hitson Agency has some of the finest people of any agency that I have ever worked with. Great people looking out for their customers, what else can you ask for.
If I could give Hitson Insurance a zero, I would. I had a $200,000 insurance policy on my business with them for several years. When we moved in April 2015, I called them to both change the address of coverage on my operation and to change the amount of coverage I had due to the purchase of another business. My renewal did not arrive at the end of the year, and when I called to ask where it was, I found they'd mailed it to the old address because *they never made the requested changes in the first place* - I was assured all would be taken care of THIS TIME and when my 2016 policy renewal went through, they had again neither changed my coverage address nor the amount of coverage on my business. Needless to say, I wrote them an angry letter cancelling my policy early this year and requesting a refund for premium paid - and they had the nerve (or the total incompetence) to try and bill me for even more money for a policy that was cancelled! These people are totally incompetent. Do not do business with them.
