Very nice park, great for kids. Very popular so can get busy but not too overcrowded. Greenway is always a good choice.
Very clean and beautiful park . Located on the green belt trail that runs through Maryville and Alcoa . Sandy Springs park is medium sized . 1 playground with pavilion/bathroom , plus 2 Tennis courts , 2 basketball courts and 3 softball fields . Decent parking though it can be crowded during softball tournaments (few times a year) . 18 miles from Great Smoky mountain national park . 1.5m - 2m from downtown / mall
Beautiful place to enjoy a breathe of fresh air. Walking trail or bicycle trail. Note: please give a warning if your on your bicycle upon passing pedestrian. Either a Bell or a call out would be appreciated.
