Having gone to Sam Houston State University I was interested in Sam Houston's early life. Very cool place
Called number at closed gate . No answer. Very bad as we had come a long way.
Clean and enjoyable
This time whem we visited it was for an event for a friend to see her son recieve his eagle award. And it was a nice little venue, but we have been to other events for the museum when they hosted history days and this is always a fun time and educational. The kids always enjoy it. We also have enjoyed the tour of the school house. The guides are knowledgeable and you can tell they really love the history.
Do not believe stated hours. We arrived at 4pm on Saturday before 5pm stated closing
