Extraordinarily nice, and beside the occasional headlights it's very nicely lit (Well dark, that is.) and it even came with a radio station so you could hear it basically anywhere. As well, nice movies, for cheap and cheap food. You get to see two movies for the price of one, and well it's better than going to the real movies and paying 10-30 dollars for one movie. Anyway, 10/10 experience.
Love going here every summer. You can't beat $7 for 2 movies and the drive in experience is a lot of fun.
This is a special place that your parents and grandparents spoke of fondly. It is like taking a step back in time, when going to the movies felt more like a community activity than a private activity. The staff is very friendly and make everyone to feel welcome. The prices are much more affordable than going to a theater. The staff does a very good job keeping everyone entertained and engaged prior to the start of the movies. Space is limited and fills fast, depending on what movie is showing. The speakers (which were left hooked in the windows as patrons left) have been updated with FM broadcasting, so you can use your own radio and speakers in your car to listen to the movie. This family friendly drive-in is one of few operational one's left in the state and the ONLY one in the Maryville area. Security is walking the grounds making sure people respect each other during the movies. They also keep a battery charger on hand to ensure that a fun and enoyable night stays that way for anyone who is unfortunate enough to have their battery die during or after the movie. This is a unique chance for children to experience movies the way their parents and grandparents did in the past. The concession stand has reasonable prices and a good selection of snacks and drinks for those moments you desire a mid-movie snack. Though the line can get long at times, the staff remains friendly and courteous. So, bring your children to this family friendly drive in theater in order for them to experience this time-capsule first hand. The community feel of the experience makes the admission price worth the cost. Enjoy 2 movies for much less than the cost of one movie at an impersonal, crowded dirty theater.
We really enjoy going here as a family for the drive in experience. Most people bring chairs instead of staying inside their cars, but I like that. The grill is decent. The only downside is the bathrooms (small and old).
The first movie was kinka cute but The Mummy with Tom Cruise or however you spell his last name which really doesn't matter to me; was too much for me! I think it MATCHED his religion, satanic, SICK! I AM A CHRISTIAN AND I THANK GOD I HAD A GOOD FRIEND FROM CHURCH WITH ME SO THAT WE HAD SO MUCH TO. TALK ABOUT, YES THE ALMIGHTY LORD!! If only we had known that next weekend, one of the movies is Planet of the Apes! I going!! GOD Bless you all!!
