Absolute scam artists. DO NOT TRUST him. Issac Smith came to my home for a bid, and knowing I was desperate he took full advantage of my deposit by cashing it immediately and using the funds for everything other than the work I hired him for. When confronted with the fact about cashing a check a week before the paid date on the check he became very defensive and had an excuse for his behavior. Since learning about this shady behavior my further investigation lead to several other people who have been conned out of a lot more money than I. Run away from this man, he will only cause you stress.
Countless involvement with this company. Honest and integrity personified. They go above and beyond in everything they do. So thankful for these good folks!
-Contractor arrived a week later.
-25% deposit to secure a place on calendar for last week in Feb 2017.
-Contractor contacted us with apologies and desire to do the job.
-Contractor was given 2 weeks to complete the job.
-Since ending the project (not completed), we continue to find additional problems and mistakes.
Isaac is a man of his word. My wife and I hired him to pour a rather large pad for us. After seeing a few people "dogging" him on every possible avenue to do so, I was sceptical, but we gave him a shot and it was a great experience!!! Did an awesome job and stayed until the job was completed. Then returned to do the final clean up. Awesome experience and highly recommend him and his company!!
Had patio poured last summer. It took a while to get them out to do the job. But I wasn't in a hurry. I was more or less happy with the product and service initially. But I started to notice some issues. They waited to long to broom finish one side of the patio so it is very slick when wet. Some spots on the side of the pad are honeycombed (google it). The surface of the pad is pitted where it wasn't floated properly. I was told this would go away with time (it has not in a year) Also, there are little pin holes opening on the surface where I imagine there are air bubbles. They also left a large pile of dirt that I was told they would remove. I contacted the owner a few times on these issues, but eventually gave up. The patio will do, but I wont likely use Smith Concrete again.
-The worst experience and workmanship of any project in over 20 years of owning our home.
-We would never use them again.
-Rehired (huge mistake).
- 90% of the job will need to be corrected.
-After numerous postponements, work slowly started mid-May.
-After multiple issues, fired the contractor the end of May.
-Contract signed the end of Jan 2017.
