MOTHERS CELEBRATION OF LIFE- MISTAKE AFTER MISTAKE FROM THE MUSIC TO TO FUNERAL DIRECTOR NOT PREPARING THE VIDEO OF HER PHOTOS., MOTHERS ASHES WERE NOT IN THE URN WE HAD ORDERED. I WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN NOTICED THIS UNTIL I PICKED UP THE BURIAL VAULT THAT IT WAS EXTRA LIGHT - WHEN I ASK HIM HE SAID WE DID NOT ORDER ONE. WE DID AND OF COURSE WE PAID FOR IT THE DAY WE MADE THE ARRANGEMENTS. THE DIRECTOR TOOK IT BACK AND PUT THE ASHES IN THE URN? BURIAL SITE WAS INCORRECT, THEY HAD SET UP ON SOMEONE ELSE'S FRESHLY DUG GRAVE- DIRECTOR LIED AND SAID A MOCK SERVICE- WE WERE NEVER MADE AWARE OF THIS. EXCUSE WAS LOCATION OF BURIAL PLOT- FUNNY SAME FUNERAL HOME BURIED BOTH MY GRANDMOTHER AND GRANDFATHER IN THE SAME LOCATION AND NO ISSUES- HER LITTLE GRAVE WAS NOT DUG- THEY WERE DIGGING IT WHILE WE WATCHED, EVEN THAT AS PAINFUL AS IT WAS NOT THE LAST STRAW. THEY HAD NOT DUG IT THE CORRECT SIZE SO WE WATCHED WHILE THEY DUG AND THEN CRAMMED HER VAULT DOWN IN THE GRAVE. IT WAS SO PAINFUL- MY MOTHER WAS VERY PRECIOUS TO ME, AND THE LOSS IS BEYOND EXPLANATION. WE WERE HOPING FOR THE BEAUTIFUL SERVICE SHE DESERVED. INSTEAD WE WERE LIED TO, MADE EXCUSES TOO. I AM SORRY BUT THERE WAS ONLY ONE CHANGE TO GET THIS CORRECT, AND THAT IS GONE- I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SMITH THEIR SERVICES FOR THE CARE OF MY LOVED ONE EVER AGAIN. WE HAVE BEEN LOYAL AND ALL OF MY CLOSE RELATIVES HAVE USED SMITH- BUT THAT HAS BEEN MANY YEARS AGO. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM, BUT MY MEMORY OF HER SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE A PAINFUL ONE, IT WAS IF WE AND SHE DID NOT MATTER AT ALL TO SMITHS .THE LOSS OF OF MY MOTHER IS THE GREATEST LOSS OF MY LIFE. I HOPE THAT SHE KNOWS THAT HER FAMILY DID EVERYTHING THAT WE COULD DO TO MAKE HER SERVICE A TRUE CELEBRATION OF LIFE. SMITHS CANNOT TAKE THAT AWAY, I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS YOUR FAMILY TO MAKE THAT FINAL DECISION FOR YOUR LOVED ONE.
