I was about to ask him if we could just take it for a quick drive, I was still weighing out if it was worth buying to do all the engine work. The condition had not completely turned me off to purchasing the vehicle. It was the salesman's attitude, & actions that make this a place I will not do business with again.

Came to look at a vehicle. The gentleman who walked out to meet us in the field that the cars are parked in passed off the key after shaking hands, & said it had only had one owner. It looked clean, the body was in very good shape, & it turned over right away. Unfortunately when we opened the hood it was easily noticeable that the engine itself had not been well cared for. Oil was leaking & bubbling with radiator fluid mixed in from around the top gasket. Under the vehicle red transmission fluid was leaking from around the fly wheel & pan gasket. The problems with the vehicle are just what they are. That's not the reason I've chosen to review this business. Sometimes used cars have issues. Those seemed major to me, but the problem comes from the salesman's response.
At no point after passing the keys to my friend & I did he come within 50' of the vehicle. He hung back, & leaned on a car. Maybe that's just his sales style. When I walked back up to him and said, " The body appears to be in perfect condition, but I'm not sure I'm willing to take on all of the things I would have to do to it mechanically." He then said something along the lines of, "I don't need anyone nit picking my cars, I know stuff about cars too." He then grabbed the keys from the ignition, and grumbling under his breath, stormed back up the hill.
