I love books, so I am biased. This has been a favorite spot of mine for years. Love all the local books to choose from, too.
They have a good selection of books, and may be Maryville's only bookstore now that Hastings is gone. The thing is you can't beat them on charm. It's such a cute place to meet and have a delicious cup of coffee or soup. And they were nice enough to allow our daughter and her date meet there to make prom pictures and they turned out so fantastic.
I bought quite a few mythology books, some I doubt I would find at any other bookstore nearby. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere homey
They have the best salads! There are several different kinds - all loaded with protein and fresh veggies. The salads are huge - not skimpy about portion size or toppings! This is the best place for a salad in Maryville. You will not leave hungry!
Nice, friendly staff and a really nice coffee shop too! Tons of books all about; yet, clearly organized. Their style made me wonder when Harry Potter would be showing up :) Also my grandkids actually enjoyed my 3-hr-long search for a book! The best part is that the staff didn't seem to mind that my kids were there. So I didn't feel rushed. I've only visited 3 times (really looong visits), but it's already become my favorite bookstore!
