We were recommended to go here from a good friend of ours. We walked in and a server? manager? not sure which was eating at the front where the hostess was. Little odd, but we decided to stay. Our server (would use a name but was never given one) took our order and was only seen again when delivering our food. My husband got a burger and fries, he enjoyed it. I got boneless teriyaki wings and a side order of Mac and cheese. The wings had soy sauce drizzled (I thought they were naked until I took a bite) on them and the Mac and cheese is (and if not..is pretty damn good copy cat recipe of) Kraft Mac and cheese. Wasn't the worst food ever, surely not the best. I was going to ask our server to order something else but never got the chance. Both my husband and I ran out of water. The server/manager that was eating when we walked in cleared our table and perhaps asked how everything was? I'm not sure because he was mumbling. I had to stop another server to ask for our check. She was very friendly to us but you could tell she's had to do this before, and immediately went and got our check for us even though she had a few of her own tables to tend to. Overall experience was not what we were hoping for. We will give it another shot soon, hopefully this was just a fluke.
Really good vibes and food. The house Bloody Mary was killer! I love the new Buzztime Trivia system too. I had the Italian Stacker Burger (Sausage Patty on top of an Angus Patty with sauce, Mozzarella and peppers and Onions) YUM! The gresh cut fries were great and my wife loved her loaded fresh cut chips. I didn't get a taste, but they looked amazing. Nice staff and a real Chicago vibe. And of course, you can get an Old Style which no Chicago themed bar should be without. We will definitely be back!
Love this place! Great atmosphere and servers always make it a pleasant experience! The steak queso wrap is a gift from Heaven. Come watch a Cubs or Bears game here and you might become a diehard fan!
I've been servicing equipment at this location since they opened, but have never eaten there. My wife and I stopped one Sunday after church and have been there 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Best French onion soup ever and the wings are outstanding. Burgers are great, sandwiches are great, it all great. We've not had a bad meal yet. Service is great as well.
Atmosphere was good. The service was slow though. Would not recommend the Gyro.
