I can't begin to describe how cool this place is. If you haven't found a chance to go and enjoy this place, please make a special trip and take in the atmosphere that is this perfect eatery. I only wish they were open later each day.
I ordered the grilled turkey and cheese sandwich and it was really good: big and well served. The pies look delicious but didn't ordered any. The store is small and quaint.

Amazing food. I got the chicken pot pie with pasta salad as a side and it was great. I tried a bite of the grilled pimento cheese and bacon sandwich and wish I had gotten it. Charlie recommend I order a slice of the peanut butter pie and I'm happy he did. Creamiest peanut butter pie I've ever had. Lambert's is my new go to restaurant.
Pretty disappointed I drove half an hour to this place. I went to try it out for the first time because I saw their Facebook post they had a certain soup that sounded perfect to me! I got there a little over an hour after they opened their doors and told me they "ran out" and I "should have called first" to see if they still had it. Well, first of all, this was my first visit and I've never had to go to a place and call first to see if they still had the food they had just advertised they would be serving that day. Second of all, get it together. The girl at the front told me "it happens all the time" and that's why most people call ahead of time. Does this not say something about your business? I am all about local businesses but this wasn't ok. I got some other sandwich from the menu that was ok which is why I rated it a 2. Otherwise I won't be back.
